Angela Mwihaki
Angela Mwihaki, has been in Radio, T.V and the Arts for over 20 years. She has worn many hats as an actor on TV & stage, a Radio & Tv show presenter and producer. She’s at home behind a microphone because she loves to meet and talk to people. She’s always looking to expand and improve her creative abilities. Being in radio provides an opportunity to interact with different people from all walks of life, build rich networks and learn from great people.
Angela is a lawyer, a certified professional mediator, and an Emotional Intelligence coach and practitioner. Angela loves listening to Music (Soul Therapy), Dancing, Cooking, Travelling, attending plays and Music shows, Swimming, Walks and meeting new people. She also volunteers and works as a mentor for youth and women. She also loves animals and advocates for their rights and protection.
She has been a Rotarian for the last 4 years and has served as Club Secretary, Membership Director and is currently the Speaker Secretary at her Club RC Nairobi Muthaiga North. She is also serving as the Annual Fund Chair in District 9212 for the 2nd consecutive year.
Vicky Karuga
Vicky is a creative, dynamic executive leader, and serial entrepreneur having begun her professional journey as a registered architect creating and transforming spaces for various organisations and later transitioning into Managing Director for Profiles International, a leading Talent Management Solutions provider.
Vicky’s career began as an architect setting her off on her entrepreneurship journey to found Tarakibu Architects. Tarakibu grew steadily over time and continues to serve clients to this day. Her curiosity led her to discover a gap in availability of data for companies to make decisions on talent. She discovered her passion for people and psychometrics and is certified as Psychometrics provider. She is also the Genos EI Distributor and Master Trainer for the Sub-saharan Africa where she gets to certify Genos EI Practitioners each year. It is in this area that Profiles seeks to demystify and start conversations going that will be part of the changing cultural landscape of Africa.
It is her hope that these conversations will spur more curiosity in Emotional Intelligence as a topic and act as a catalyst for better work culture, better leadership, and building of better organisations, generally.
