Following the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in December 2019 and its rapid spread globally in 2020, the impact on all business sectors globally has been and continues to be unmatched.
Workspaces in Kenya have suffered unprecedented drops in business and operations have been interrupted significantly. Leaders have been forced to navigate a broad range of interrelated concerns that span from keeping their employees and customers safe, shifting the direction of operations, keeping business going as they observe the new protocol and change that has come with this pandemic.
Profiles International East Africa supports the actions of our Governments so far which are aimed at safeguarding the health and the lives of all of us living in East Africa. We welcome any measures meant to safeguard and take care of our cherished staff, clients, and partners.
We continue to prioritize the livelihoods and well-being of our associates and by extension that of their dependents. To this end, we have taken the necessary decision to temporarily suspend normal operations as far as physical psychometric assessments and training programs are concerned. Classes requested will be conducted with the necessary safety and social distance requirements.
To ensure all-round health and safety, the company continues to use its platforms to advocate for safe living as well as champion for well-being in the workplace through our recurrent Free Online Webinars. We have achieved this by regularly inviting experts and practitioners in various fields to further the discussion of Emotional Intelligence through our campaign Resilient East Africa Challenge which represents one of the most important efforts to help people cope through the effects of the pandemic.
